High education and training activities

International Master’s degree (II university level, EQF 7) in “Functional and Sustainable Materials” (LM ScMat)

Starting from the Academic Year 2024-25 the International Master’s Degree in Functional and Sustainable Materials has started its activities filling the gap between the Bachelor’s Degree in Material Sciences (launched in the A.Y. 2021-2022) and the PhD course in Materials Science and Technology (lasting for more than 20 years). Functional and Sustainable Materials is an interdisciplinary M.Sc. program in Materials Science that aims at developing a broad training in the chemistry and physics of materials with a special emphasis on their application in circular economy.

To partially support students, a few grants will be distributed to students with excellent careers, at the end of the first year of the course. In 2025, we awarded three students €1,500 each.

PhD's projects

At the third year of the project, three of the seven PhD grants were activated on themes strictly connected with the Strategic Targets of the project.
